corporal is a compilation of poems about identity, desire, family, and change. through four separate life stages, it explores the meaning of home for a queer immigrant—two things that signify change—and poses that one's only constant is the body, a home we have all our lives.
through poems and prose, corporal is a journey through time, across cultures, and between identities. the book was featured in the brooklyn museum from april–march 2019, as part of the frida kahlo: appearances can be deceiving exhibit. it is now part of the museum’s permanent archives.
